Diana Dudoit Raiche is the
general editor of the Spiritual
Exercises. She has a strong
background in the renewal and
restoration of the catechumenate and
currently serves as Executive Director
of the Department of Religious

The Growing Faith Project

Bill Huebsch is the author of The
Growing Faith Project, which is a
presentation of the entire Catechism
of the Catholic Church, in plain
language. Bill is an internationally
known author and speaker in the field
of catechesis and Vatican II. His
writing “in plain English” has made
several of his works best sellers, due
to their fluid and readable prose. He
currently serves as the Director of
PastoralPlanning.com, a pastoral
center providing resources and
coaching for lifelong faith formation.

Sr. Maureen Shaughnessy SC is
the general editor of The Growing
Faith Project. Sr. Maureen currently
serves as the superior of her religious
congregation, the Sisters of Charity of
Convent Station New Jersey. She has
also served as a national leader in
adult catechesis and as staff to the US
Bishops. During her tenure there, the
key document on which all this work is
based, “Our Hearts Were Burning
Within Us” was approved and

Tools for Teaching

Alison Berger is the author of Tools
for Teaching and a senior editor at
Twenty-third Publications. With a
strong background in catechesis.  
Alison is the former editor of RTJ and
has written several books for teachers
and catechists, religion texts for
children, seasonal booklets, and
screen plays.

Sr. Edith Prendergast, RSC, is
the general editor of the Tools for
Teaching section of Into the Fields. Sr.
Edith is the Director of Catechesis for
the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and
the organizer of the annual Los
Angeles Religious Education Congress.
Her experience as a youth minister,
catechist, teacher, and leader in the
church are generously shared in this
